Loganair is a British airline. And as a such it has to follow European air passenger laws and regulations. There are two regulations that apply to most Loganair flights – EC261, also known as the EU flight compensation regulation, and the Regulation UK261 (its UK counterpart). Every time Loganair plane arrives to its destination 3 or more hours later than scheduled, you may be entitled to EU or UK flight delay compensation. You can get up to 600 euro. As long as the delay is due to the airline’s fault, not something unavoidable. For example, mechanical problems with an airplane are considered airline’s fault (you can get compensation).

Every time Loganair cancels a flight, they must offer you a choice between an alternative flight and refund.
